The Wire Season 5 hits DVD August 12

According to TV Shows on DVD, the final season of HBO’s hit series The Wire will hit stores on August 12. Sheeeeeeet. Though that seems like a lifetime from now, I’m only just finishing Season 4 and am admittedly in a much better positi
on than other non-HBO subscribers, who -without an iTunes option- have been without new episodes since early December.
